The SpesLab looked at others and showed itself.
A strange situation—there’s not a single similar product! Are we doing something wrong? There is video analytics, there are plenty of neural networks, but they’re either extremely outdated and slow, running on smart cameras, or they operate on super-expensive video servers loaded with a huge number of costly graphics cards. The former is useless, and the latter is too bulky and expensive.
But something small and convenient, something you could throw into any ditch, yet truly smart and multifunctional, powered by neural networks and actually capable of detecting dangerous situations—that kind of thing (pardon the Arabic accent) was only available from Spezlab.
And of course, Dubai isn’t some regional city—this is where the whole world gathers, from the US to Australia. It’s amazing how it maintains Eastern wisdom, treating all nationalities and religions equally, without politics. There have long been many Russians here. Naturally, most are from companies promoted by our government, which is also typical within Russia itself.
It’s clear that breaking into this market without major investments is impossible, and Spezlab has always operated using its own funds. But the spirit of competition is what matters to us. This exhibition is a source of inspiration for us—a chance to explore new directions and check whether we’re on the right path. And people from all over the world gave clearly positive feedback about the AI-Capsule – the Videoblazer.
