Smart device against people with weapons
“Anti-Terror” package.
Detects any type of firearm, drones, and much more.
Judging by footage from the news, people with machine guns on the streets of Moscow and other cities are becoming a common occurrence. In the 90s, hitmen at least tried to hide, but now they’re ready to openly pursue their victims. And, some believe, this is just the beginning.
SpecialLab has developed a smart video recorder that, in addition to other tasks, recognizes any weapon, as well as threats associated with this type of threat. The whole process is automatic, as are the countermeasures – everything in one device.
The videoblazer gives you the opportunity to react before you feel a gun pointed at you. Even if there are only children at home who don’t understand anything about security, the device has onboard power relays to lock the doors, as well as a connection to the intercom to warn before exiting.
The alarm algorithm is based on the Crocus principle: some hold weapons, others hold onto the floor.
The videoblazer’s neural networks recognize any type of firearm. They can also distinguish between carrying and readiness to shoot. They recognize from any angle and camera, even from already installed ones.
Notification tools are also built into this device and can both send a message and sound an alarm over a loudspeaker. For example, to alert an entire school in a second. Ammunition brought home from the SVO by fathers may be entering schools much more frequently. And we already have private security companies that are securing children’s institutions with a reaction to weapons.
You can also monitor compliance with weapon handling rules. Every year, many people die from mistakes in the loading-unloading procedure. Now you can warn the instructor about those employees who point the barrel at people.
There is such a huge amount of firearm material on the internet today that we were able to train the neural network to detect weapons with very high accuracy. But we understand that cheap Russian cameras have low resolution, although they are bought in large quantities. And often we have to work in the dark and with a lot of interference. No smart camera can handle such a load, but the Video Blazer handles a large number of video channels perfectly. It has the most advanced chips for neural networks.
Where conditions are very difficult, we combine the weapons neural network with the “pose” neural network, which can identify body parts. This allows us to refine the threat by verifying that the weapon is actually in the hands. Therefore, a glare on the camera that looks like a pistol, or a sparrow on a fence in bad weather, does not lead to false alarms.
In addition to weapons, the videoblazer recognizes a mass of other threats such as drones, faces, car numbers, fights, climbing over fences, falls. Even QR codes, clothing styles, money and credit cards.
And we have been supplying this equipment to our partners for many years.
Of course, Chinese technology takes a back seat. Typically, in their so-called smart systems, the number of patience is the number of false positives that a person is willing to tolerate. It usually goes off the charts, and the operator either stops paying attention or disables the notification – depending on their temperament. In this regard, the videoblazer surpasses both Chinese programs and European computers. It is also inexpensive. The small climatic box does not require any room, cooling or even maintenance.
Often, the most sophisticated security system fails simply due to complex settings. It just doesn’t work because it is very complex. This box only has one button and you don’t need to configure anything. Pre-configured software is uploaded remotely. The user only has one button – power, that’s it!
The “weapon” neural network is part of the “Anti-Terror” package, which also includes fallen person pose detection and drone recognition neural networks, plus basic neural networks: person, car, truck, bicycle, and others.
